I had a mix of experiences during my stay at the Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown. The location is fantastic, right across from Lucas Oil Stadium, making it super convenient for events. However, I encountered some issues with housekeeping and the elevator service that detracted from my overall satisfaction. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which definitely boosted my experience.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. The layout was comfortable, allowing me to relax after busy days. However, the proximity to the pool made the lobby sometimes smell of chlorine.
Service
8.0
The staff, particularly Andrew, Tori, and Bobby, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me during my stay. While the night manager was less engaging, the positive interactions with other team members made a big difference.
Location
9.0
Being right across from Lucas Oil Stadium was a huge plus for me, especially attending events. The downtown area is also quite accessible, which makes it convenient for exploring the city.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options, I was surprised to find a charge for it, which isn't typical for Holiday Inns. The dining experience could definitely be improved.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate, but I experienced issues with the elevators. At one point, I and some colleagues had to walk up six flights of stairs. The pool area was too cold, and guests could cut through it, which felt unsafe.

7.0/10

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown, and while it had some great elements, there were a few downsides. The hotel is well-located near Lucas Oil Stadium and has clean, modern rooms that made my stay comfortable. However, the noise level at night was a concern, and the front desk could use more staffing during busy events.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were spacious and well-updated, complete with hardwood flooring, mini-fridges, and microwaves. The updated vanity in the bathroom added to the comfort, making my stay quite pleasant.
Service
7.0
Although I found the staff generally friendly and accommodating, there were moments during check-in and check-out where it felt like they were understaffed, especially around event times. This led to longer wait times.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and other downtown attractions, which made it easy for me to explore the area on foot.
Dining
6.0
The options for breakfast were decent, as I could choose between buffet or menu selections. However, I felt that the offerings could be improved in variety and availability, especially during busy mornings.
Facilities
7.0
The pool and hot tub were clean, though smaller than I expected. Overall, the facilities met my needs, but could benefit from more attention in certain areas.

6.4/10

My stay at the Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown was quite mixed. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and I appreciated the proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium, making it convenient for events. However, I faced issues with the dining options, particularly the limited breakfast choices, which felt inadequate considering the price. Additionally, my check-in experience was frustrating, as my room wasn't ready upon arrival, which put a damper on my plans for the day.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was clean and modern, though some amenities were inconveniently positioned. I had difficulty accessing the microwave, and the bed height was a bit challenging for me. Overall, the standard was acceptable, but layout considerations could use improvement.
Service
5.0
While some hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, my interactions about the service could have been better. I experienced delays and a lack of communication regarding my room availability and the dining options. It left me feeling somewhat frustrated during my stay.
Location
8.0
The location was an absolute highlight, with easy access to Lucas Oil Stadium and other attractions in downtown Indianapolis. I found it ideal for my event, adding significantly to the convenience of my stay.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing overall. The breakfast selection was limited and ran out quickly, forcing me to settle for subpar options. Considering the meals were an added cost, I expected better quality and variety.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel facilities were adequate, though some amenities were not functioning during my stay. The gym and pool area looked well-maintained, but my experience with the restaurant was underwhelming due to the lack of staffing and poor food supply.

5.0/10

My stay at Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown was definitely mixed. The location was super convenient for events at Lucas Oil Stadium, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The elevators were a nightmare at times, and I faced some cleanliness issues in my room. Plus, I was not happy about paying for breakfast when many other places offer it for free.

Rooms
6.0
I found the rooms to be clean and modern, which was great, but some maintenance issues were hard to ignore, like a broken bathroom vent held together with tape.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly, especially Andrew at the front desk who really helped out during check-in, but some management could be a bit more engaging.
Location
8.0
Being so close to Lucas Oil Stadium was awesome for attending events, I loved the convenience of just walking across the street.
Dining

Breakfast options were kind of overpriced and not up to par with what I expected for the price, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The gym and pool area were decent, but the elevator issues really put a damper on my experience overall.

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown, with great amenities and a convenient location near Lucas Oil Stadium. The rooms were clean and modern, making for a comfortable visit. I did find the price for parking to be a bit steep at $20 per night, and the breakfast options weren't included, which was a slight downside.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and well-equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The modern updates made it visually appealing, though I did notice some noise from the hallway. On my second visit, the cleanliness was lacking in one of the rooms, but overall the accommodations were satisfactory.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. They even allowed me to check in early, which was much appreciated after a long drive. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is fantastic—just across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium and only a short walk to the downtown area. It made it easy to explore the city and attend events. However, I did experience some noise from traffic at night.
Dining
7.0
I was a bit surprised that breakfast wasn't included in the room rate. It cost around $9 for a standard buffet, which was decent but lacked variety compared to other hotels at a similar price point.
Facilities
7.0
The gym and pool facilities were nice, but the pool could use some cleaning. The Wi-Fi was reliable and strong, which made staying connected easy. Overall, the amenities worked well for my needs.
